Victoria Montesinos (born 1944) was born in Mexico to film director Fernando A. Rivero. She studied painting under Spanish painter Jose Bardasano beginning when she was 12, and moved to New York in the 1980’s to study lithography. Her intricate works are built up in layers, and she will spend weeks creating a work of art. She began exhibiting her work in 1972, and has made a name for herself in the art world. `
